Work Placements

Learners at LifeBridge ASEND have the opportunity to participate in internal work experience or an external work placement.

‘One size, does not fit all’, and we celebrate the unique aspirations, strengths and skills of our young people.

We tailor our work placements to the aspirations of each individual.

We have job coaches to support learners in the workplace, they provide a valuable link between the employer and the potential employee, ensuring any concerns from either party are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Employer Quotes:
"Connor is great; he works really well and gets on so well with everyone here.  It’s a joy to have him with us."
Gavin Astley – Operations Manager at Carrs Pasties.
"What an amazing session Katie had today!  She helped prepare the feed for all of our animals, cleared animal waste and joined in with various students who attend our regular farm club. She assisted putting fresh bedding in the donkey house and got very stuck in the mud! Brilliant session!"
Steven Waterworth – Ladybridge Farm.
