LifeBridge Plus is a provider of socialisation activities and opportunities for adults aged 19-30 with SEND. Some adults choose to attend this provision either on their day off if still in education or when they have left education. This is separate to our LifeBridge ASEND educational programme and there are associated costs which is based on individual needs, using a banding model.
Payments for places at LifeBridge Plus are charged on a daily rate as per a banding criteria. The SEND needs of the applicants are considered on a ‘case by case’ basis and the level of staffing required to meet individual needs. Funding may be available via social care.
At LifeBridge Plus, we provide valuable support for adults, helping them build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections. Our goal is to make a real difference in their lives through engaging experiences.
We believe that social connection is key to a happy and fulfilling life. That’s why we place a strong emphasis on creating opportunities for our participants to socialise with others of similar age in a safe, supportive environment. Friendships formed through shared experiences can boost confidence and build a strong sense of belonging.
We offer regular chances for participants to take part in a wide range of meaningful, inclusive activities designed to encourage interaction and lasting peer relationships. Whether it’s chatting during a group walk or laughing together during a game, these social moments matter. There’s something for everyone at LifeBridge Plus! From creative arts and crafts sessions to cycling, cooking, and relaxing nature walks, our activities are tailored to suit all interests and abilities. We’re also proud to partner with Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, who host exciting monthly multi-sports and bowling sessions.
We listen to the suggestions of all who attend regarding choice of activity they’d like to see included, and we aim to accommodate requests, if possible, to ensure the programme reflects their interests.
We’re proud to have created a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone can flourish and feel at home. Whether it’s learning a new skill, building lasting friendships, or simply having fun, there’s a place for everyone to grow, belong, and thrive at LifeBridge Plus.
